Katy Tur

 

Katherine Bear Tur (born October 26th October, 1983) is an American author and journalist on the air working as a correspondent for NBC News. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports and since 2021, she hosts Katy Tur Reports on MSNBC. Tur also provides reporting for NBC News platforms Early Today, Today and NBC Nightly News.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tur is the daughter of journalist Zoey Tur and Marika Gerrard. She graduated from Brentwood School in 2001 and the University of California Santa Barbara in 2005 with the Bachelor of Science degree. She's of Jewish heritage.
